The Drama League's Summer Directing Project is a very competitive program. Each year there are at least eighty applicants. From those that apply under twenty are chosen for an interview, and of those twenty only four directors become Drama League fellows.

The Drama League Summer Directors Project
The Summer Directing Program begins in mid-May with an orientation week in New York City. The Summer Directors meet with members of the professional theatre community, attend theatre,participate in workshops and seminars relevant to their future careers. The following 11 weeks of the program takes place in Ithaca, NY at the Hangar Theatre.The Directors are Adam Immerwahr, Lauren Keating, Corey Atkins, and Lydia Fort. This blogs serves as an archive of their experiences.
